World Agility Championships

This fundraiser to help support Mariann and Violet to get to the Netherlands for the World Agility Championships

Mariann, is just 18 years old and competes in agility at Grade 7 with her collie x cocker spaniel (Coral) and a corgi x collie (Betty)!

This is her second time competing for Team England and her 4th time competing internationally!

Marianns previous international success has been:

Team Agility - EOJ Luxembourg 2017 (Age 13)

Speedstakes - WAO Netherlands 2022 (Age 17)

Team Agility - JOAWC Finland 2022 (Aged 17)

Overall Team - JOAWC Finland 2022 (Aged 17)

She now has her own business; Reef Agility which has been a huge help in developing her as a handler and trainer!

Violet is just 11yrs old and starting training her family dog Chase for fun when she was about 7. Chase is a terrier mix and by the time she was ready to have a go competitively covid hit. She carried on training her dog at home with the equipment she had.

Violet has gone from strength to strength in her first yr of competition, achievements include

Getting her dog to grade 5

Crufts qualified for three events

Win on spot, for the 300 height (junior position)

Dog agility is not a recognised sport, therefore there's limited opportunity for sponsorship and funding for the team, therefore the majority of this trip is self funded.
