World Cancer Day for Joan Larsen

Joan was our first hire here at Your CBD Store Newhall. She is a major advocate
for CBD. During her interview she told us about her 8 year battle with Ovarian
cancer very matter of fact(ly).  She had just finished chemo and her hair was still
very short. She was buzzing with excitement as she brought out a notebook
to tell us about all the research about our store she had done. We were blown
away. Hiring Joan was the best decision we made. She has brought such a hard
working, caring, loving, funny, straightforward, honest, kind and beautiful spirit into our store.

Her enthusiasm and advocacy has continued as she has been a support and an
educator to our all of our customers. Especially as a personal testimony to those
individuals who have come in to our store just starting to go though the many
stages of cancer and treatment.

Back in December her scans showed a new tumor on her lung and the biopsy
confirmed. Joan will start treatment in the next two weeks and with that the
medical bills are already starting to pile up. 

We want to surround her with our support and give back to one of the most
generous people we know. If someone needs something she is the first to offer
her help in any way she can. Her home, her time, her food, a listening ear or even
just a hug. She is a light and a beautiful part of our lives. She is a wonderful
mother, co-worker friend and human being.

Our hope is that we can all come together in a big way to give her some relief
from a financial burden on top of a physical one. From our hearts to yours if you
