WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT, 75 PUBS IN 24 HOURS

Hi,

My name is Nathan.

On the 5th August 2018 myself and my family were blessed by the biggest bundle of joy we could possible ask for. Kara, a 7 year olf staffy leaped towards me and set off on her adventure for what was to be her home for the rest of her life.

For 2 years she brightened every day, a face to come home to and wake up to which never got old. Without the amazing folks at Dogs Trust Shoreham this would have never been possible. They delivered an incredible process and provide the best possible life for dogs in their care before they find their forever home, vowing to never put a healthy dog down.

Sadly for us, Kara became ill in October 2020 and we found out she was suffering from an incurable form of cancer. By mid October her condition worsened and we were forced into making the one decision we never wish we'd have to. Kara brought so much joy to our family and could never be replaced. Her smile, her nature, everything she contributed to our lives was something only a dog owner understands. Unfortuantely this isn't always the case and since COVID dog shelters such at Dogs Trust have been overwhelmed with dogs now needing a home.

This comes at a cost.

Every donation, either big or small makes a massive diffefrence and helps pay for staff, food, accommodation, providing abandoned or mistreated dogs with a life they wouldn't have received. It allows for training and development of the best quality meaning families like mine can enjoy a life forever blessed by their canine chums.

This is why, on the 17th September 2022 I will attempt to beat Gareth Murphy's attempt of 54 pubs in 24 hours and register myself in the Guinness Book of World Records. Dressed as a dog (what else?!) I will travel around Brighton, attempting to visit 75 pubs and bars while raising money along the way.

This will be no easy feat and with a route planned I'll be spurred on by the support of donators and those completing the journey with me, finishing the attempt early on the Sunday morning. Can I do it? Yes. Will I do it? YES x2.

See you there?
