World Ringette Championships

My name is Brianna and I am an athlete on the 2022 United States National Ringette Team. Team USA Ringette is currently training to compete at the 2022 World Ringette Championships (WRC) taking place in Espoo, Finland October 31 to November 6.

Ringette (a sport that is often related to ice-hockey) in the USA has been around since the 80s and in Canada even longer. Our 2019 team took home the silver against Sweden at the last World Championship in Canada. The 2022 team consists of women from across North America who work hard to train collectively and individually, and ultimately are working towards meeting in Finland to take on the world and bring home some hardware!

Team USA Ringette is an unfunded team and each player is responsible for paying her own way, estimated at $3,000 each. As a full time Doctor of Chiropractic student, personal funds are very limited and I am seeking partnerships to aid in offsetting associated costs including: airfare, accommodations, transportation, meals and uniforms.

Great efforts are being made globally by the International Ringette Federation and National Ringette Organizations to grow ringette. Over the last few years, there has been an increase in development and growth discussions for ringette in the USA. Consequently, there will be a great deal of exposure for Team USA Ringette in many areas of the USA (and Canada) over the next several years.
