Want to join us in making a difference? We are raising money for Worshipful Company of Security Professionals Charitable Trust, and any donation will help make an impact. The Trust’s mission is to distribute monies in order to:
(i) assist members and former members of the security profession in difficulty and alleviating suffering and distress;
(ii) promote and further education; and
(iii) deliver projects with wider significance to the public.
In doing so, we aim to provide Kindness in Security, valuing and adopting our ethics of Commitment, Integrity and Trust.
The Trust supports initiatives including:
- PTSD Resolution (training volunteers to deliver counselling and support)
- Friendship Works (mentoring young people who are in difficult situations such as domestic abuse, mental health etc)
- London Air Ambulance (based at the Royal London)
- Young people through the Secure Futures programme (available to those on free school meals offering work experience and mentoring and a route into the security industry)
- Helen Arkell dyslexia charity
- The Endeavour Award and Whittington Course for pupils at Harris Garrard Academy, Bexley;
- Short film produced by the Security Consortium for the Prevention of Suicide launched July 2023
- Furnishing Futures - supporting domestic abuse victims get back on their feet.
