Wortley RUFC - Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

A few years ago a number of Wortley RUFC members set off on a mission to walk the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, to raise some much needed funds to buy equipment needed for the club. The mission was a great success, a few years on and Jake & Brad are taking it one step further as they set out to run the Yorkshire 3 peaks. A very ambitious target but for a great cause.

Anyone within rugby will know that pitch maintenance, general up keep and equipment is a heavy yearly cost and is quite often tough just to keep those accounts in the green. Our sponsors are great and help us with kits and general equipment but our changing facilities are in much need of a revamp and with that we are looking to raise funds to help improve those facilities. Our shower block currently is not connected to our changing facility and needs some much need building works done to adjoin it with that we are trying to raise £500 to make those works happen. Brad and Jake are setting the fundraising efforts going with there challenge on October 15th 2023
