Mandy's Medical Fund
Donation protected
On September 22, 2017 my sister, Mandy, was diagnosed with Hodgekin's Lymphoma. Later we discovered she was Stage 3 BS. Mandy will be undergoing chemotherapy once every 14 days for 6 months, assuming everything goes as planned. Before her chemo started she had already gone through multiple procedures such as the biopsy, port placement, etc. The medical bills are already adding up and we are still at the very beginning. Those of you who know Mandy know she is very prideful and independent, but as a single mother of 2, I can't imagine how terrified she is. As she goes through chemo and fights cancer, medical bills and missing work should be the least of her worries. I've started this to get a head start on paying medical bills and help her with household bills, such as filling her LP tank to heat her house. To make this interesting I should probably include that if and when we hit our goal of $2500 I will be shaving my head and donating my hair to a company that gives wigs away for free. Having a sister means never having to go through life alone, and that is why I am doing this. So, please, donate if you can or simply give it a share if you are unable to donate. We appreciate it more than you know!! #TeamMandy
