DC Bike Party’s Sage Raindancer recovery fund

Hey Everyone,

We are making this GoFundMe to help DC Bike Party volunteer Sage Raindancer financially while he recuperates from a bad bike crash.

At the last DCBP ride, Sage was avoiding a collision with another cyclist when he flipped over the handlebars and landed hard on his left side. He is feeling aches and pain in his left ribs and hip. It hurts to cough, laugh, or even clear his throat, even trying to sit up or down.

Sage is Bike Party’s Lead Marshal, and is usually one of the most prepared volunteers to help out in situations like this, but now he needs our help.

All of his work is physical in nature - he is a massage therapist and a teacher of massage therapy. He won’t be able to work again for at least 4-6 weeks while his ribs heal. We are raising money to help him financially until he can get back to work.
