Help "Lana, Tala, Alma & Mariam" to live in peace...

Hello dear,

My name is Samar Abusamaan, I am a Palestinian Architect Engineer & a University Academic from Gaza. This is my husband Abdelhaleem and our kids Lana, Tala, Alma and Mariam.

We had a beautiful life in Gaza. A life that we worked so hard to build during the past 15 years and very hard working every day from morning to evening without rest or holidays due to reach our goals and dreams although the difficulties that we faced and unstable conditions that we live, but Now this life we dream for it it seems to become even impossible!

OUR STORY

It's painful to say that we lost everything from the biggest to the smallest little detail. We lost our beautiful home with all its memories. We lost our business, and we lost our life and dreams. We evacuated our home with only a small bag of clothes and some paper documents before it got destroyed. So YES we lost EVERYTHING.

Our beloved home was destroyed in Nov. 2023 - which we built brick by brick for 15 years-, besides losing all our income resources due to the ongoing war. I &my husband missed out on PhD program because we were unable to leave Gaza due to the war. My four kids also lost their education and entertainment programs during two academic years 2023/2025. We live now inhumane situation we are forced to endure, as we keep evacuating from place to another having our mattress and sleeping covers with us, drifting apart as one family to several places in relatives' homes, and keep running the whole day to secure a clean water supply, food and charging batteries for a dim light finally at night and enduring the craziness of highly stressful financial conditions that exhaust our savings & time.

Our house is destroyed partially on 16th October, but now it is completely destroyed. However, we cant reach it until this moment because of the blocking of the road between north and the south of Gaza strip.

With many of you reaching out and asking to financially support me during these times, I want you all to know that It’s never easy for me neither for anyone in my place to seek help from others since we’ve been all the people who others depend on and always ready to support and give a hand. But Gaza is becoming lifeless day after day, having no clear vision about the future with all schools and universities have been destroyed and with the massive destruction that has reached out.

As parents, we have devoted ourselves to caring for a better life for our offspring. We strive diligently to provide them with the opportunities and security they deserve. Our aspirations always revolve around enhancing their happiness and instilling in them a sense of purpose that positively contributes to society.

My husband lost his father & his brother in this war, so my daughters felt the loss of their uncle and grandfather, who spread joy and affection in our home.

Our 3-years-old kid should be playing in safe areas, eating healthy food to grow properly, and enjoying good mental health, but instead, she constantly feels fear. There is no safe or clean place to play, and there is no healthy food for her to eat.

So Seeing fear and terror reflected in the eyes of my children, and feeling completely helpless to protect them, is the greatest pain anyone could endure.

My Daughters are:

1) Lana

13 years old girl, she is the spirit of life of our family and she is full of life, energy , and love. She loves drawing and colors. Lana is very clever in her school.

2) Tala

11 years old girl. She is the beautiful flower of our family and she is the obedient, quiet & brilliant girl. She is very clever in mathematics.

3) Alma

8 years old girl. She is the princess of the house. She is very full of life. She loves drawings, fashion & modeling shows. Alma loves sports and plays gymnastics and yoga. She is love cats and pets.

4) Mariam

3 years old girl. She is the Daddy's girl. She has a wonderful spirit and her self-confidence is very high. She has great love for her sisters. She loves group play and loves giving and sharing with others in everything.

HOW WILL WE USE THE MONEY ?

We humbly seek your assistance in liberating us from the war, guiding us to safety, by crossing the Egyptian Palestinian border, and providing us with the opportunity to start a new peaceful life toward a brighter future for ourselves and our beloved daughters.

We hope to ensure a better future for them, especially since they missed out on education this two years due to the war. With your assistance, my daughters will revive their educational dreams. Eventually, I plan to return to my homeland to rebuild our home, which was destroyed by the conflict. Your support would mean the world to us in achieving these goals.

Your donations will give our family motivation to work hard for a new beginning.

We will use the money to reunite my family and evacuate temporarily to Egypt until we can return home to Gaza in the future. I wish to offer my family a decent life, after months of suffering and struggling in these inhuman situations, and we will use it in rebuilding two different destroyed flats in Gaza and Khanyounis, that we work for 15 years to build it a brick by brick.

Our dear friends, this is not an obligation, no one is taking advantage of you emotionally for your support. We don't use our people to get your sympathy. We are just stating our own true personal story, hoping and believing in your support.
