Diego’s set for surgery sometime today. Anywhere from now until 8pm. I’ve been waiting for X-rays to be looked over and also transferred to another hospital to determine if we should or shouldn’t do the surgery today. Diego’s nauseous and scared but he’s brave and I know he’s going to do great *i hope*.

I’m BEYOND grateful for all of you. This experience of people in my life and strangers coming together to support me is a feeling I’ve never experienced. I cherish this with all my heart. Thank you so much ❤️. Once I know the official cost of everything I’m happy to share. And I’m not joking about sending every single one of you a card in the mail with a picture of Diego. He looks very handsome on refrigerators.

Diego had another xray. $1000 for last nights bill and $461 for this morning Looks like it’s a potential plastic bottle cap but I need to wait for a radiologist to confirm so I’m just playing the waiting game today. The object is sitting in his stomach. As long as it doesn’t move to his intestines, we have time to determine if it’s a full surgery or endoscopy. I appreciate all your donations and Diego and I feel so loved. It all helps so much ❤️

Hello my name is Linda and I adopted Diego about three years ago. I love my cat so much and he truly makes my life complete in so many ways. He’s an indoor cat with a mischievous silly attitude and it’s heartbreaking seeing him not be himself.

I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d openly ask strangers for money but here I am.

Diego is most likely going to need a surgery tomorrow 7/13/24 to remove something in his stomach (still unsure from the Xray but I’ll know tomorrow morning hopefully) and we are hoping the object doesn’t make it to his intestines but at the moment I’m unsure. I’m very overwhelmed with the estimate costs for surgery. It’s anywhere for 5000-8000. i do not have this money and I am desperately trying to figure out what the heck to do. I can give proof of the costs and or answer questions about Diego to assure your donation is going directly to Diego’s medical costs.
