Help a Grieving Family

Tracy Xiaoqian Yu, former PhD student at The University of Southern California, assistant professor of Marketing at The University of Utah, passed away suddenly while giving birth.  Baby Andrew survived and is healthy.  This is a heartbreaking tragedy.  Xiaoqian’s parents flew in from China two weeks ago for a family reunion but instead forever lost their only daughter. We would like to raise money to help Xiaoqian's family through this difficult time.

Tracy Xiaoqian was a former phd student at USC. We (Lei, Alex, and Mengxia) and Tracy were colleagues and office mates in the same department at USC. The beneficiary of this campaign are the husband of the deceased, Guixi (Charles) Zou. We are in direct contact with Charles and have invited him to withdraw the funds through the GoFundMe portal. This fund is set up to help Charles cover related expenses (funeral, rent, food, etc) and raise the newborn baby Andrew.
