Medicine for Lebanon

Lebanon is facing a growing shortage of medical supplies and essential medicines, as the country buckles under a succession of devastating crises, leaving the most vulnerable people at risk.

“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls..." as stated by Jibran k.J. in his book broken wings, and so our initiative has emerged into a great cause of making a difference in our society. We are a group of compassionate university students trying to harness the core of our education into a practical project to significantly contribute to helping desperate people in their traumatic experiences to find their medicines.

At the early stage, we went door to door checking the cases of helpless people, validating their needs, and creating a master list covering a wide range of areas across Lebanon.

Subsequently, we launched a fundraising campaign to gather as much as possible from funds to buy medications from another country, ship them, and distribute them accordingly.

Evidently, based on data collected, we are aiming to:

• Help 200+ families

• Buy and ship 500+ medicines

• Cover a wide range of areas: Aley-Matn-Jerd-Chouf-Beirut-Chweifet-south-bekaa...

• Raise an amount of money around $10,000

• Direct any excess funds to buy children milk and other necessities as well.

• Work on publishing any transactions for high transparency.
