Hello. I'm Zach.

Some of you know me as terranraida in DCS/Something Awful/Xbox/ect, or D'ceet in EVE Online, or "That richmond dude who just posts memes on facebook all day". A friend convinced me that I should look into making one of these because well, I'm in a bad place.

In November I lost my job. Not great, and the job market right now is bananas. Unemployment successfully pays my rent but that's it. I've started looking into food banks/pantries as my savings have dwindled. The next month in December I sliced open my foot that required me to spend 6 hours in the emergency room and ended up getting a bill from the hospital for close to 4,000 USD.

The very next month in January I had a ticket to the state of Virginia to the tune of 370 after processing fees for an expired inspection. I still have been unable to fix what has made my car fail inspection in the first place.

Utilities are also stacking up because I cannot pay them off. I don't run the heat most times and it's starting to get colder.

I hate hate hate having to ask, but I'm at a point where if others are suggesting it, it's probably time. I don't like begging but if I don't ask now I will be in a worse spot down the road if I hadn't done it. The money isnt going to anything fun, or fancy. Bon Secours, Dominion, and the Richmond DPU get theirs so I don't end up worse for wear. Anything extra will go to groceries or new shoes and clothes, since mine all have holes in them.
