Help Alex Fight Stomach Cancer

Hello, my name is Rosemary, my husband Alex was diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer with metastasis to the liver on January 27, 2022, at the age of 27. This diagnosis was a shock to our family, seeing as he lived a healthy lifestyle and never had been sick.
Over the last few months he has been on an aggressive form of chemotherapy plus immunotherapy at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. He was on treatment every other week. With his first treatment on January 31st, which was one of the hardest treatment on him physically. Everything looked promising and was going as planned, scans showed a 20% decrease in all tumors which was amazing because that’s what the goal was to shrink them. But as of his most recent scans on May 13th, treatment was no longer working and his tumors had a slight increase.
So now we are being told to look into clinical trials which they are also hopeful about. We had an appointment for clinical trials and are currently waiting. The reason for this fundraiser is to give us other treatment options and help alex fight stomach cancer. That means insurance unfortunately doesn’t cover these options and we don’t know exactly how much treatment, travel, and medications will cost etc. I will be updating as well.
