Marcia Dean’s road to recovery after car accident

On Friday August 26th, I received a nightmare of a phone call that my sister, Marcia Dean, had been in a serious car accident and sustained an extensive list of injuries. She has since been at MMC Trauma ICU. Marcia has a long road ahead of her, with rehab and recovery. For those of you that don’t know, Marcia is an amazing nurse with over 20 years of dedicated nursing care- as well as being a devoted mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and aunt. She is an all around incredible woman who would give the shirt off her back and go to battle for those she loves at the drop of a hat. Due to the severity of her injuries she will be out of work with months of rehabilitation ahead of her. We are hopeful that with support from friends, family, and community that we can relieve some of her financial stress so her main focus can be regaining strength and getting back on her feet (literally and figuratively).
