Wrenn's Top Surgery Fund

Hi there! My name is Wrenn Grey. I'm a 27 y/o non-binary, gender fluid tattoo artist living in Spokane, Wa. My pronouns are they/them :)

I'm very happy to say, I'm getting top surgery Feb 15th, 2023! I so look forward to alleviating the distress of gender dysphoria and everyday interference that having breasts causes me. This surgery is necessary to allow me to live my life fully.

I've found a great surgeon in Denver, CO who I'm really excited to work with. He's an expert in working with a wide range of body types and has much experience working with individuals seeking a non-binary approach to this procedure. I've reached out to and consulted with a few different surgeons in the last couple of years who were not a right fit, so this is amazing to find one I can say I'm affirmed and assured by.

I'll be funding this surgery without the aid of insurance. I'll also need to pay for travel expenses and lodging for myself and the person I bring to care for me during the two week post-op period, as I will be seeing medical staff for follow-up appointments.

Funds will help me cover:

-surgery cost

-airfare

-an air bnb for two weeks

After surgery, I'll need a full two months off from tattooing to fully recover, which I am working to prepare myself for financially. Tattooing involves a lot of physical labor, and the main muscle groups affected by this surgery are exactly what I utilize when I tattoo.

Raising at least the $17,000 for surgery, travel, and lodging will significantly help me with this enormous undertaking, and allow me to take the time I need at home to properly recover.

This surgery has been a long time coming and so worth the wait. I'm beyond grateful for any support you can give to help me become comfortable in my skin with this gender-affirming procedure!
