"Wrestle All Three Periods"
In Loving Memory of David Ross Farquharson
Father, son, brother, husband, Uncle David, Paw Paw, Coach, Coach Farq, Coach F, Dave, and David—each of these names captured a different piece of the incredible man David Ross Farquharson was. He inspired thousands of lives, led with compassion, and was truly a light in this world.
After a long, hard-fought three weeks in the hospital, David’s family made the heartbreaking decision to end his suffering. On April 6, 2025, David passed away peacefully and is now reunited with his beloved wife, Karla.
If you are able, we kindly ask for your support in helping ease the burden of medical and end-of-life expenses. Your generosity will allow David’s family and loved ones the space to grieve during this incredibly difficult time.
We are deeply grateful for any and all donations. Thank you for standing with us.
"Wrestle All Three Periods"
“In the sport of wrestling, there are three periods in a match. When he became my coach in high school, those four words became the foundation of how he led—not just on the mat, but in life.
It was his way of preparing us for anything: to go the distance, to be ready for the highs and lows, and to give our all in every moment. If you knew my dad he was the definition of never quitting and always fighting. He was so hardheaded but in the best ways possible. He was always doing something for someone and never asking for anything in return. Whether coaching, teaching, watching film, lifeguarding, being the starter at track meets, he was always everywhere you looked. Motivating, loving and being the guy to always GO when you needed something. He had fought the good fight and had won many battles. Through him he has raised us to be the strongest and most willing versions of him and we will carry his legacy with us everyday. Dad, we love you and miss you always."
