Wrexham Police FC fundraiser for Boxes of Sunshine

On Sunday 6th October 2024, Wrexham Police FC will play Wrexham Legends at Airbus Broughton. Kick off is at 2pm.

The off duty officers will face a Legends side comprising of former Wrexham AFC players in a charity game to raise funds for Boxes of Sunshine, a Wrexham based charity that was created in memory of Kirsten, who died at the age of 14 after a short and sudden battle with leukaemia.

'Boxes of Sunshine' are sent to young people aged 11-16 across the UK, who have a chronic illness, disability or condition (physical or mental) in the hope of bringing a smile to their faces.
