HELP SAVE "WRITE YOUR WAY OUT" establishment

We are a Bronx organization helping the community's youth process and express their emotions by writing about them. 

Write Your Way Out was founded by myself Minister Kwame Thompson with the hopes of giving back to Bronx youth by teaching them new skills.

The program is located at 226 Soundview Ave. and is a safe space for youth. The program offers a studio where youth can create podcasts, take writing classes, and collaborate with each other in that same safe space.

I have high hopes that the program helps Bronx youth understand their feelings.

There’s a lot going on outside of these walls. There's a lot of conflict happening, there’s block against block. Neighborhood against neighborhood and building against building… in this space, all that stays outside.

In order to do so we need help from our community to keep our doors open until we get permanent funding.
