They respond in shaky handwriting, a hand and soul full of care. Some folks, especially around the holidays, older folks - that is - don’t have people around to be with, to laugh and care for. Would you be willing to spare $5 this Christmas time to help us give those folks a laugh?
Imagine your friends or loved ones have moved on. You spend your day among the other folks - lots of them have family, children that come to visit. My caring and kind grandmother sends cards full of jokes and revelry to other older adults. About 365 actually. She sends them to folks that no longer have family members to speak to, people that keep mostly to themselves.
