Please help my uncle through a rough time

Hello everyone. My family is going through a really rough year. My Uncle was in hospital in the fall for liver disease and was not expected to make it. Thankfully he did survive but his recovery included him needing to re-learn to stand and walk. He still has physical impairments, making it unsafe for him to work yet as per doctor assessment. His oldest brother and his mother (my grandmother) both died earlier this year within a couple months of each other. My Uncle was living with my grandmother as her caregiver, but when she died he was kicked out of their home as he is 59 and had to be 60 to be a primary resident in their particular apartment building designated for seniors. He has been living temporarily with friends who have been kind enough to help short term. He has now found an apartment, but barely has enough for rent and food for the month. Unfortunately, my father (Uncle’s other brother) is now in ICU with heart failure, so my family can also not help him financially or with a place to live. My father worries greatly for his brother from his ICU bed (where I am sitting as I write this). Our family is really struggling, we would greatly appreciate any contribution that could help my Uncle afford rent and food. My Uncle has been a very successful person here and overseas and has spent 30 years helping others, but has hit a rough patch. He is too proud to ask for assistance, so I'm reaching out on his behalf. Thank you for your much appreciated support. Any amount helps.
