Wrongfully Convicted, Marcos Needs your Help

Hi my name is Ingrid, I am raising this money to help with the costs of my brother's attorney. On July of 2020, our life's have changed. My brother Marcos is an innocent man that will never hurt anybody or be disrespectful in any way. In February of 2023, he had a trial and the jury found him guilty. In his interview prior to the trial, he told the officers that he did not take anyones life and he did not know the deceased. But, still he was convicted to life. Now, we are appealing this case because it is unfair that the State did not do their research or search for someone else to blame. We ask the community to help this young man get his life back. This young man has a bright future ahead of him, and this is holding him back from getting there. This young man is a hardworking man. He doesn't like to sit around and not do anything. He helps out anyone that needs help. Every donation, every cent, every dollar goes towards his attorney costs. This very hard for my family and I. We grew up in a Christian home were we were taught right and wrong. This young man is a man of God and is not what the State described him to be. We will fight for his freedom, and we are not giving up. The system is wrong. How many innocent people are incarcerated every year? We (the community,families, friends) should not keep letting this happen!

Hola mi nombre es Ingrid, estoy recaudando este dinero para ayudar con los costos del abogado de mi hermano. En julio de 2020, nuestras vidas han cambiado. Mi hermano Marcos es un hombre inocente que nunca lastimará a nadie ni será irrespetuoso de ninguna manera. En febrero de 2023 tuvo un juicio y el jurado lo declaró culpable. En su entrevista previa al condado, les dijo a los oficiales que él no le quitó la vida a nadie y que no conocía al occiso. Pero, aún así, fue condenado a cadena perpetua. Ahora, estamos apelando este caso porque es injusto que el Estado no haya investigado o buscado a alguien más a quien culpar. Pedimos a la comunidad que ayude a este joven a recuperar su vida. Este joven tiene un futuro brillante por delante, y esto le impide llegar allí. Este joven es un hombre trabajador. No le gusta sentarse y no hacer nada. Él ayuda a cualquiera que necesite ayuda. Cada donación, cada centavo, cada dólar se destina a los costos de su abogado. Esto es muy difícil para mi familia y para mí. Crecimos en un hogar cristiano donde nos enseñaron lo correcto y lo incorrecto. Este joven es un hombre de Dios y no es lo que el Estado describió que es. Lucharemos por su libertad y no nos rendiremos. El sistema está mal. ¿Cuántas personas inocentes son encarceladas cada año? ¡Nosotros (la comunidad, familias, amigos) no deberíamos seguir permitiendo que esto suceda!
