Please help us in this difficult time.

My daughter's name is lexie. She's 3 years old and such a sweet little girl. She has been diagnosed with a laryngeal cleft, subglottic stenosis, and tracheomalacia. It's been a long road trying to find out what was exactly wrong. I'm so thankful we got referred to U of M!. She will be going December 1st to have reconstruction surgery of her throat. There going to take a peice of her rib and use that to fix her throat. Once that is done we will spend 3 weeks in the icu for recovery. They will have her in a medically induced coma for the first week of recovery. I'm so scared for her. A mother's worst nightmare to watch her baby go through this. But I know she is in good hands at U of M. After recovery we will have to go back to U of M once a week for 2 months to make sure she is healing properly. It's 6 hours round trip. I'm asking for help as me and her father will not be able to work wial this is going on. We need to be right there for our daughter. We also have a 10 year old that will be staying with family wial this is going on. It's Definitely going to be a very hard time for us. I'm always willing to help everyone. Would give the shirt off my back to help someone. well now is the time where I have to suck up my pride and ask for help so we can be right there with my daughter and not have to stress about financial stuff. I will be forever greatful if you can help my family in this difficult time!

Lexie's surgery went well. She will be in a medically induced coma for the next 9 days.. once they wake her up we will have to stay another 2 weeks down here in Ann arbor. I'm not sure what recovery will be like once we get home and not sure exactly when we will be able to return to work. Any donations are greatly appreciated!
