It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our one of a kind mom, Katie Kunkel-Jaapar. She was a loving and devoted single mother to Connor and Aaron, who are now struggling to cope with the profound loss of the woman who meant so much to them.

We are reaching out to our community and beyond, seeking your support during this incredibly difficult time. We obviously did not plan to have to do this now, and we are a little light on the funds needed.

Our mother dedicated her life to others, always putting their needs before her own. She was a source of strength, love, and unwavering support. If you needed something, she was the first one who arrived. Now, as we face the unimaginable task of saying goodbye, we want to honor her memory in the way she deserves.

The funds raised will go directly towards covering the funeral expenses, including the cost of the service, transporting her to the cemetery in Missouri where our grandpa is buried, and any other associated costs. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be deeply appreciated and will help alleviate the financial burden we are facing.
