Please help a family in need

So Doug is a disabled veteran that is incredibly hard working man. He has a wife and 4 children, ages 4, 7, 9, and 10. His wife works as much as she can.

Back in September Doug lost his job. He applied for unemployment and was granted it but they had to investigate before they paid it out because some kind of issue. He did get a new job 8 weeks later but they still have not paid the unemployment claim out. Unemployment has been called the last 3 weeks and they have "escalated" the claim each time with nothing happening. His family has juggled the bills as long as they could and was recently late on rent. 3 days after the due date the landlord threatened legal action. They've been making payments but at the expense of trying to pay other bills like their phone bill, their pickup needs repaired so it can be used to get kids to appointments and his wife can go into work. Also his son just had a tonsillectomy which he needs to be able to go to the grocery and get food for the entire family.
