Conjoined Twins

Hi, my name is Mario Sanchez. My wife and I are expecting twins which has been such a blessing. On the last ultrasound we discovered that they are identical twins and more than that, they are conjoined. Unfortunately it isn't something that can be fixed with surgery. My two baby girls share 1 torso and one set of organs. The chance of them surviving such a high risk delivery is "slim" according to the OB. A chance we would have been willing to take. The ugly truth, due to the complicated c-section that needs to take place and where the incisions will be, it will render my wife unable to carry another pregnancy. Unfortunately, that is not a risk we are willing to take. Regardless of your views on abortion, I ask you find it in your heart to see this situation is not as black and white as the law makes it out to be. It's a very grey area and it kills us to even consider this option. When we do bring children into this world I want to give them my all and the best quality of life possible, which I don't believe is possible in this situation. Because of how far along we are in the pregnancy, we have to travel to another state to have the procedure done and the procedure will be in the form of C-section without the vertical incision. For the health and wellbeing of my wife and my family, this is the best decision and it's not an easy one. If you can spare anything it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time, God bless.
