Robert (Bob) Walter Morgan

In Bob's memory, we ask you to help us make a difference. Rather than funeral flowers, we would like to raise money for two causes, Dans Fund For Burns and a memorial bench in Bob's memory. Any donation you can make will really help make an impact, so even if you cannot make his funeral, please help us remember and honour him and give whatever you can.

Dans Fund For Burns is a charity that gives specialist help to burn survivors and provides equipment and training to the burns units across the United Kingdom. Bob suffered life changing burns in Oct 2022 after a bonfire accident and spent 18 months in hospital. He battled courageously, but sadly we lost him in August 2024. Dans fund were a great support to Bob and his family and they do wonderful work helping people adjust after life changing injuries. They support survivors and their families and fund equipment and research. They have provided equipment and training for specialist burns unit at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead who are leaders in burns research and cared for dad so well. More about Dans Fund

Bob loved nature, gardening and his allotment and even in his final days he was sat in the gardens watching the birds. Bob would help anyone and he raised money to start a community garden so young people could learn about the natural world and love gardening as much as he did. We would like to honour him and his community spirit with a memorial bench, so others can sit and reflect, enjoy nature and remember him fondly.
