Help Us Support Vulnerable Students in Zambia

Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating opportunities for a brighter future. At the Grass Fly Foundation, we are committed to empowering vulnerable youth in Zambia by ensuring they have everything they need to thrive in school. This year, we need your support to provide essential school supplies and boarding necessities for our students.

The Need:

We have a group of students who cannot afford the basic requirements for school. These include uniforms, bags, school shoes, books, pencils, paper, and hygiene essentials like soap and tissue. Additionally, four of our students are heading to boarding school, where they need extra items such as mattresses, trunks, sleeping clothes, pillows, and snacks to help them settle into their new environment.

The Cost:

For the four boarding students: Each requires £200 to cover all their school and boarding needs. This includes uniforms, supplies, and boarding essentials.

For the remaining students: We need £200 to provide their school requirements.

In total, we aim to raise £1,200 to ensure every child starts the school year equipped and ready to learn.

Many of them come from disadvantaged backgrounds, where even basic items like soap and pencils are out of reach. Boarding school offers some of them a safe environment and an opportunity to focus on their education.
