Daughter hospital stay

Hi, we are Jerry and Shana McKinney. Our 6-year-old daughter, Nora, recently spent time in the hospital for surgery to biopsy her colon and insert a catheter in order to conduct a colonic motility study.

Both of us had to take time off work in order to be with her. On top of which, I (a school teacher) had spring break the week after and, since I just started my position, it was unpaid.

We find ourselves unable to pay this month’s (April) rent and we are also behind on other bills.
