The Daryl Hastings Youth Baseball Memorial Fund

My husband, Daryl, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 52. My children and I want to honor his memory by setting up a youth baseball fund to support the children of our community. Sports, especially baseball, was a passion of Daryl's his entire life and he took great pride in not only playing the sport he loved but coaching and mentoring his "kids".   

He was a player, a parent and a coach who set a good example for everyone around him.  While winning was always the focus, it was also important to him that his teams were made up of dedicated, hard-working, humble and "hungry" players. He truly loved the game, the children he coached and the families he met.

It's our family's intent to continue to grow this fund to make it last a lifetime.
