About the owner
My name is Mark Sloan and I created WTF! Vegan Fast Food because I’m passionate about introducing as many people as possible to our delicious vegan food. I understand the preconceived notion most people have about vegan food and I want to combat that by providing an eating experience that’s out of this universe. Being a positive impact on my community is the motivation behind everything I do. I am creating a space that promotes healthy living through intentional decision-making.
Why we need YOU
GREAT NEWS!!!! We have finally found a space to provide a full dining experience for WTF! Vegan Fast Food!!! The best part is that we will still be located in West Atlanta, our favorite community. Starting a business, especially a restaurant, requires a lot. Capital is the biggest obstacle. While we’ve had several accredited investors offer to help grow the business, keeping the equity within our family is a priority.
We’re seeking assistance from our community by helping us raise at least $20,000 to make the transition into our space seamless. Our goal is to have our goal funded in no more than 14 days with intentions of reopening by mid-October at the very latest. Thankfully, a lot of the work has already been done which will significantly decrease the time needed to reopen.
Our Menu
Options include an assortment of never before seen burgers, breakfast, chicken, shrimp, and loaded hot dogs. All 100% vegan. All 100% soy free. We offer an eclectic menu that can’t be found anywhere else. With our new space, we will significantly increase our production efficiency while offering the flavors our customers have grown to love. Additionally, we will be able to test new menu items. Including a surprise concept we can’t wait to introduce that will be received with open taste buds.
Why we NEED this space
It’s obvious that an increase in space will only produce even greater results. For almost 3 years, we’ve been confined to a space of only 160 sq feet. Our new space will be almost 6x the size with space to eat inside and outside. Finding a kitchen that is big enough to produce our menu seamlessly has been at the forefront of our search to expand. The most important aspect is that you can now get your food super fast without skimping on quality or service. We also started our trailer without prior experience and we’ve learned so much in the time that it’s been open. One major aspect of increasing our workflow is the layout.
How your support will help us
While the space is built out to restaurant standards and equipped with brand new equipment, we still have a lot to do. We plan to use the funds to pay for the security deposit if $11,400 plus $3600 for the first month’s rent
YOU ARE APPRECIATED!
I cannot express my gratitude enough. Since day 1, WTF! has received unwavering support from our community. For that, I will forever be grateful. Thank you!!!
Risks and challenges
As with any business, especially a restaurant, I know we face an uphill battle. However, we are more than confident that the experience in our food trailer and the knowledge we’ve gained will help us be even more successful. There have been many lessons learned, especially from the obstacles that I had to pivot and turn into opportunities. I am very committed to this business with passion that can’t be matched. I understand passion alone won’t make me successful. I’m an avid learner and I’m continuously seeking education to improve as a restauranteur. Being in this restaurant space will significantly increase the quality of the experience that WTF! Vegan Fast Food provides.
