Hi my name is Lamar. I’m also known as The Autism Pastor. In 2020 I was diagnosed with stage three rectal cancer. Unfortunately after only a year or remission the cancer returned and has spread to my lungs making it stage four. Recently I had to take early retirement while I continue to receive ongoing chemotherapy treatments to try to control the cancer because surgical intervention is no longer a viable option for my case. I recently discovered that SSI disability benefits may take up to a year to approve and while I have a few income generating opportunities, the loss of an annual income has already proven to be a challenge. Battling cancer for nearly four years has brought me to a place of humility and I am grateful to know that I can ask for help in times like these. Anything you can contribute to help my family stay afloat until I can access my benefits would be greatly appreciated. We love you all for all the support you have offered us over the last few years.
