Eric Baker's Medical Fund

Asking for help can be one of the hardest things anyone ever has to do in their life, even when there is an army of people out there waiting in line to do whatever they can to help you. That is what we are finding to be the case for Eric, everyone who hears about his story follows it up with, "What can we do to help?". Unfortunately, at this time there is very little we can do except keep the prayers for Eric coming and relieve some of the financial worries from his plate so he can focus on the only thing that is important at this time and that is getting better.
Below is a letter written by his mother Paula explaining in a little more detail where things are:
To all of the friends and family of Eric Baker,
I just wanted to thank everyone for all your thoughts, prayers and support while Eric is going through this emotional time. So many of you have asked how you can help. We thought a "go fund me page" to help Eric with some expenses (medical and living) while he is awaiting an artificial heart surgery. This surgery is a bridge to another heart transplant. The artificial heart will give his body time to heal and be re-evaluated for another possible transplant.
For those of you who do not know Eric very well. He had an aorta heart surgery when he was 9 months old. Even though he was followed by a cardiologist his whole life. He was able to lead a pretty normal life as a kid growing up. But his heart did continue to enlarge to the point that he had a heart transplant in January 2007 at Children's Hospital. Though he was blessed with a new heart just shy of 11 years ago, he finds himself again with a failing heart. With it being the second time he is at a higher risk for everything.
With Much Love
Paula
So I am asking you to consider a financial donation (large or small) and to continue to pray for him and his doctors as he continues on this journey.
Thank you for your consideration and love for Eric and his family!
Gods Blessings,
