Cancer Picked The Wrong DIVA!

This journey began for Ashley during a doctor's visit with the optimism of leaving with everything being normal from the lump she felt in her left breast. There were several test conducted, starting with Ultrasound followed by a 3D Mammogram, finally a Biopsy. Ashley's Primary Care Physician wanted to be sure of the outcome and referred her to receive an MRI. Unfortunately, that day of positivity turned dark very quickly when her doctor shared the news, on December 22, 2022 Ashley was diagnosed with Stage 3 HER2+ Breast Cancer. After receiving the news Ashley felt overwhelmed by her diagnosis but immediately thought of her 2 children and how their lives would be without her. However, due to her being a fighter and wanting to be here for her children, Ashley made the decision to not allow this diagnosis to define her, but she chose to LIVE.

Ashley is now faced with the emotional, physical, and financial hardships that comes along with this disease. She is a part-time employee that works as much as she can, but due to the numerous doctor appointments and undergoing Chemotherapy Treatment it is challenging to be a committed employee at this time. With the constant thoughts of death, now Ashley has an added stress of figuring out how to provide for her children, keeping a roof over their heads and surviving day to day.

Our pray and hopes are to obtain help from kind souls to assist Ashley with medical expenses, living expenses, and financial assistance for her 2 small children.
