I wanted to start a gofundme to help pay for Sasha’s emergency surgery. She’s had a large mass on her foot for several years that the vet has checked out and told me it was fine since it wasn’t bothering her, or causing any issues and that it would be costly and unnecessary at the time due to her age. Well today the mass burst and she experienced uncontrollable bleeding which she had to be rushed to the ER. This has resulted in immediate surgery due to her blood loss. We were hoping to control the bleeding until I could get her into the vet in the morning however she was losing too much blood and became lethargic. She is currently being held overnight for surgery and observation to remove the mass and get her some fluids to replenish from the severe blood loss. As we all know vets are expensive let alone emergency surgery. Truly anything helps considering how unexpected this was.
