I created this page for my good friend Michelle Johnson, Linda's daughter and these are her words:
"Anyone that knows my mom, will say how amazing, caring and strong she is! I'm sure when she finds out about this page, she won't be very happy because she's all about giving and not recieving! However, the reality is that the medical bills for treatments and surgeries are stacking up.
She was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 uterine cancer in February 2015 which has progressed and spread to her lungs. Over the past 3 months, she has had one round of chemotherapy and one surgery that have not been effective, but we remain strong in our faith and hopeful as ever!
My mom is 68 years old and is not only a mother of two but she has 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren! She has been happily married to Larry for 20 years! She has also been a devoted member of Gateway Ministries, located in Williamsport, Maryland, for over two decades! She just retired last year from her rewarding job as a preschool teacher and all her kids lovingly refer to her as "Mrs. Linda." She is as active as ever and nothing will slow her down! All her grandchildren are very active and she rarely misses their soccer or softball games, even during chemotherapy.
We know that things are tight for a lot of people nowadays, and its never easy to ask for help for that reason. No dollar amount is too little and 100% of donations will go directly to medical bills.
