Wudhu Facility for Indonesian Orphans

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

I hope you are having a blessed Ramadhan!

This Ramadhan, I am fundraising for orphans in Aceh, Indonesia.

We have previously fundraised for several sustainable projects at this amazing orphanage, and are now looking to support them with an important area of need inshaAllah.

The main compound is in urgent need of building a new wudhu facility next to the masjid. The previous one they have is crumbling apart after many years of use and adverse weather conditions.

They would like to repair and reinforce the facility so that the children can continue to benefit from being able to make wudhu and practice their five daily prayers. The staff in Aceh have inquired about this and let us know that the cost to rebuild an improved wudhu facility will be $16,000, which includes 120 meters of Gabion wire, 60 trucks of stones and building materials, forklift hire, and the cost of manual labour.

Alhamdulillah, I have been blessed to be part of a team of ambassadors that have had the opportunity to personally visit the orphanage for two consecutive years and see firsthand the impact that your donations have made to the lives of the children there.

Chariots for Children was founded by Nizma Scoffield after the Indian earthquake of 2004 caused massive tsunamis that took the lives of almost 230,000 people. The main orphanage in Aceh consists of 2 compounds and is home to almost 100 boys and girls.

We have seen the benefits your money has made to the children in our last visit and would sincerely appreciate it if you could share or donate to this much needed campaign!

We have a 100% donation policy so all funds donated will reach the children who need it most.
