Help Michael Stay at Home

I am Sara Harris, a friend and neighbor of Michael Browne. As Ken and I have gotten to know and love Michael ( a truly delightful human being!) over the years and help care for him more, we see that the goal right now is to enable Michael to remain in his home as long as possible. His mobility is very poor and he is on many medications for complex health problems. Although he does amazingly well navigating his home, through slow and painful use of a walker, two areas are now beyond his capabilities. One is any deeper level of housecleaning and the other is gardening. Michael has always loved creating and working in his garden, and to no longer care for it has been difficult.

He has found a wonderful gardener, and a great house-cleaning team. With $1200, which I will help manage, he could afford to hire both at least seasonally, 4 times this year, for a good clean-up. This help would be a relief for me and Ken and other neighbors as well, as none of us can keep up with these needs of his, and it has been hard to watch things decline.
