WV Firefighter Lt. Ritchie battles Covid-19
Donation protected
Since Christmas week 2020, Weirton (WV) Fire Lt. Brian Ritchie is fighting for his life on a ventilator at WVU Ruby Hospital in Morgantown after he contracted Covid 19 while on duty. To make matters worse workers comp is not reviewing the case at this time.
While lawyers fight to get the benefits he needs, we are trying to help support his family through this difficult time. Lt. Ritchie is a 13 year veteran of the Weirton Fire Department as well as the Assistant Chief of Hooverson Heights VFD and the sole surviving parent for his 17 year old son.
