Help Rebuild After Devastating House Fire

Our house burned down and my renters insurance just lapsed.

We were grocery shopping when my brother called to let us know what was happening. Our 14 year old pug Daisy was upstairs and didn't make it.

The neighbors said the entire house was up in flames within 3 minutes.

I'm completely devastated over losing my fur child. I didn't even think to grab our tools from the shed before we headed to grandma's house to get some privacy to cry and a place to rest. Someone has already stolen over a thousand in tools and when we headed back over, we saw them drive by again. They didn't stop when I shouted after them. I spent every dollar I had renovating my father's house. I finally made myself a home and have helped a number of people in the two and a half years I got to spend there.

My boyfriends dad just died in our home on the 29th of July. Logan was notified a week before about his dad Randy's stage 4 pancreatic cancer and was moved in for hospice on the 22nd. Thank God he passed before the fire.

I wanted to add an addition to the house to help others pass on as peacefully as possible. This house showed me a lot about myself and we are going to miss our neighbors and energy tremendously.

Because I put everything into this house, I don't have a ton to put down for a new place and I want to keep my little brother with us as well.

Any help through this very tough transition would be greatly appreciated and paid forward once we get back on our feet.
