WVU Medical Brigade to Honduras March 2024

Hi, my name is Rachel Babkirk and I'm fundraising for my daughter Kiya, who will be joining the WVU Medical Brigade to Honduras in March. The medical brigade’s mission is to:

Provide free healthcare, medical access, and education for the under-served populations and indigenous communities of Nicaragua, Ghana, Honduras, Greece, and Panama.

Provide higher education students with the opportunity to shadow rural healthcare professionals.

Empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities, and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world.

Work to improve overall quality of life in the rural regions through engaging in preventative medicine practices, employing the holistic model, and assessing the needs of citizens through the assessable resources.
