Steve Had A Heart Attack

Donation protected
My Boyfriend and True Love of My Life Steve Gower suffered a Heart Attack on August 27, 2022 after having a Severe Asthma Attack from an allergic reaction to Aspirin. I had to call 911 multiple times because they did not answer. Once they finally arrived, his Oxygen was 86 and he was rushed to the Hospital. He was immediately put on 3 liters of Oxygen.

While in the Hospital, Steve had countless blood work done, multiple EKG's, chest x-rays, an Echocardiogram and a Heart Catheterization performed. He also had an IV line blow out because they continued to use it after he told them it was painful, swollen and red. That caused intense pain which he still has deep bruising from.

During his time in the Hospital, Steve was given two different medications without his knowledge. One caused him to develop unbearable pain in his hands, feet and knees. He lost all motion and was unable to walk for two and a days. The second medication caused his blood pressure to drop extremely low.

Steve was discharged from the Hospital on September 1, 2022.

Steve is still dealing with excruciating tooth pain which is what started all of this and is the reason why he took Aspirin that night. The antibiotic he was prescribed in the Hospital has not helped. Steve went to the Dentist on September 6, 2022 and they were unable to do a Root Canal so he continues to suffer in pain. They did change the antibiotic though. The Dentist would not prescribe any pain medicine. He can barely eat and drink because of the pain.

Steve has been unable to return to work since getting out of the Hospital. Prior to having a Heart Attack, he worked two jobs. A  physically intensive full time day job and a night job doing Security at a Sports Bar. He would sometimes work 17 hours a day.

Even after Steve was previously hospitalized multiple times for his Severe Asthma he always went to work. When we couldn't afford his two Maintenance Inhalers and he had to go without them, he always went to work. Even though he has Nasal Polyps with a 100% blockage in both nostrils which surgery did not fix, he always went to work. Not being able to go to work has put us in a very bad financial hardship.

Steve does not have PTO and will not get paid for the time he was out of work while in the hospital or while he recovers at home. We don't know when he will receive another paycheck.

We are extremely stressed trying to figure out how to pay our bills right now. Steve is the hardest worker that I know and wants to return to work as soon as he can.

If you are able to help us in anyway during this very difficult time it would be greatly appreciated. If not, please continue to keep Steve in your thoughts and prayers and share this GoFundMe. Thank You.
