Support the Schumacher Family

Hi, My sister Katie and I are fundraising for our dad Bill Schumacher.

Six years ago, our dad, was diagnosed with Plasma Cell Leukemia. He was only 48 years old. This blood cancer can only be treated, not cured. The amazing doctors and nurses at The University of Pennsylvania Hospital have taken wonderful care of our dad. He has completed a Stem Cell Transplant, taken medicine, completed infusions, had radiation, and now will require CAR-T Cell Replacement Therapy this December. This therapy will require 3 days of heavy chemo, at minimum a 10-day hospital stay in the city, as well as 8 weeks of rest and supervised care at home following the procedure. There will be many trips back and forth to Penn, as well as local care at Chester County Hospital.

We are running this Go-Fund Me to support our dad, and so that our family does not have to worry about finances during this stressful time. Our dad is a self-employed carpenter, who will not have any income during this time of treatment and healing. Our mom is a teacher in the Twin Valley School District. We are so fortunate to have the support and love of our family and friends.
