WWEC Kennedy Cup 2025 Campaign
Donation protected
The players of the West Waterford East Cork (WWEC) Schoolboys League Development Squad are seeking support to help them on their journey to the 2025 Kennedy Cup. This is a prestigious, week long, football tournament that takes place in University of Limerick every year. Leagues all over the country choose the most promising players from each club to form a representative squad, to represent them in the inter-league tournaments, with the Kennedy Cup being the ultimate goal.
The WWEC development squad is comprised of 19 talented players, guided by 4 dedicated coaches. The WWEC league is one of the smallest leagues in the country, so it is testament to this group of players that they are taking part in the biggest Schoolboy tournament in Ireland.
This group of lads have been together for the past 3 years and have become friends for life, while sharing their passion for football. They have overcome huge obstacles and formed a very strong bond. They cheer each other on during the highs and pick each other up from their lows. They really are a special group of lads.
To fully embrace the experience of Kennedy Cup 2025, they will need some financial support for a number of necessities. Some of these include meals, accommodation, playing kits, transport costs and other daily essentials such as food stock in the boys dorm houses. The league are in a position to subsidise the event, but cannot fully cover costs.
We are asking for any size donation, as little or as much as you can afford, to help support these boys while they take part in possibly the most memorable tournament of their schoolboy football career and help them to create lifelong memories while chasing their dreams.
Thank you for your support.
