10 PEAKS CHALLENGE in aid of WWF

Hey there!

I'm taking on the Lake District 10 PEAKS CHALLENGE on 13th July 2024 to raise funds for WWF!

WWF works tirelessly to safeguard and conserve both wildlife and habitats worldwide, while also combating the challenges posed by climate change.

Today's educational topic is ✨ Endangered Species ✨

Let me introduce you to an endangered animal: Luna the snow leopard! ❄️

Snow leopards like Luna are in danger due to habitat loss and poaching. Their beautiful fur and elusive nature make them targets for illegal trade.

Did you know their fur is so thick it helps them survive in temperatures as low as -40°C? They've got fur so thick, it's like wearing a built-in parka coat

To help protect these incredible animals, I'm organizing a charity hike in support of snow leopards like Luna. I'm fundraising for WWF - UK, and every contribution makes a difference. Your donation, big or small, will help ensure a brighter future for our planet and these magnificent cats.

During the course of the trek, I'll cover 10-peak trek through the beautiful Lake District, around 25km and tackle 1400m of ascent.

6. Hart Crag

7. Scrubby Crag

8. Fairfield

9. Great Rigg

10. Heron Pike
