2nd armored in Europe is organizing a trip in Belgium and Holland, following the tracks of the US 104th infantry division during Operation Pheasant october 1944.
We received fantastic news that a veteran from this 104th division wants to come back to his old battleground, and this for the first time since the war.
Meet Frank S. Fabianski, a technician 3rd grade of the 104th signal company during the war. Frank is now 102 years and will be our guest of honor during this 10 days trip. He will be traveling with his daughter and son-in-law.
Unfortunately plane tickets ,hotels and the special care are not for free and this is why we need your help.
So please help us to get this WWII veteran back to the places where he helped to win the war
We set the budget for 10.000euro. That may seem like a lot of money, but the rest of the budget will go to erect a monument for Medal of Honor recipient Cecil H Bolton. A first lieutenant E/413 infantry regiment 104th infantry division
