Danny's Dream

Danny is 22 years old and our aim is for him is to be as independent as possible. He has been offered a wonderful opportunity by Bridgend College to access a new course  that would develop his life skills further. The course offers a residential placement in a purpose built shared environment linked to supported local work placements. Sadly, our local authority will not fund this year for Danny and his disability prevents him from securing any sort of student loan.  As any parent, we want to try to provide the best for our children so we have decided to go it alone and try to raise the full year costs ourselves. Danny is really excited about the prospect of continuing his links to Bridgend College and I know he would be devastated if we do not pursue this course of action to achieve his dream.
