Please Help Fulfill Jeremy’s Wish

My name is Jenny and I am a very close family friend to Jeremy and Evelyn. For those who knew Jeremy, they knew that he was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend who courageously fought Acute Myeloid Leukemia over the last 18 months. We held stem cell drives in hopes we would find a stem cell donor match to potentially cure Jeremy. Due to Jeremy’s bi-racial background, we were told by doctors that it will be challenging to find a match. Jeremy fought hard and he did it with grace, humour and a positive attitude. On May 30, 2020, with his beautiful wife by his side, Jeremy lost his battle to the disease. He leaves behind his wife and his two vibrant and sweet young girls. He was gone before he was able to teach his daughters how to drive a manual car. He was gone before he could watch his daughters graduate from high school. He was gone before he could scare the boys off that would show up at his doorstep. He was gone before he could watch his daughters graduate from university. He was gone before he could walk his daughters down the aisle on their wedding day. Jeremy was gone too soon.
Jeremy has touched so many of our lives, often being a source of strength; he was always looking for a way to care for those around him whether it meant sharing knowledge, offering a helping hand, or just being there in any way he could. Jeremy was truly someone to look up to and although he was always supporting others, he rarely asked for anything in return.
Jeremy’s priority was always being able to provide and take care of his family. He was so involved with his girls’ lives, from driving them to their extra curricular activities to attending school fairs, to braiding their hair and explaining to them the importance of a good education.
I have been asked and approached by many people, including friends and even strangers, about how they can help Jeremy’s family or where they can send monetary gifts to. I know that one of Jeremy’s wish is to make sure that his girls have funds set aside for their education. This is why I have decided to set up this Go Fund Me campaign to raise funds for Jeremy and Evelyn’s daughters. 100% of your donations will be set aside for their education and well-being.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you’re unable to make a donation at this time; please consider registering to become a stem cell donor with your local blood bank so you can potentially save a life like Jeremy's.
