Woodridge Warriors Youth Organization (WWYO) was established in 1963 to improve the quality of life and assure the optimal development of children, youth and their families in Washington, DC.  WWYO is  a non-profit organization in the District of Columbia and recognized by the Federal Government as a tax exempt 501(c)(3) entity.  WWYO offers a wide variety of opportunities to participate in physical activities, which include basketball, baseball, cheerleading, and football.

On Sunday, November 15, 2015, Woodridge Warriors "Pee-Wee" Team advanced to the D2 AYF National Championship in Kissimmee, Florida. We are representing Washington, D.C., the Capital Beltway League and the D2 CBL/Big East Regional Championships at Nationals.

We are asking all of the Woodridge Warrior/Pioneer family (especially our alumni), friends and supporters to assist this group of kids in getting to Florida to represent and compete in the AYF National Championship Tournament. These warriors and their coaches worked hard through the heat of the summer and through the ups and downs of the regular season to earn the right to go to Florida.  WWYO is proud of their tenacity, their character and their accomplishments.

We are looking for sponsors who are willing to donate any dollar amount to assist in our efforts to get our kids to the AYF National Championship.  We were short changed last year, and our kids were devastated and crushed.  However, they came back STRONGER than ever, and we need YOUR support, so our kids can participate in the championship, in Florida to showcase their talent and hard work.

Please support our children, and consider sponsoring a child for $800.00 to cover their costs for the entire trip. The AYF National Championship is December 5th thru December 13th, 2015. Please help us, help our kids get there.

Thank you so much for considering sponsoring our kids.  Your contribution will help change a childs life, and their athletic perspective forever.

Sincerely,

WWYO Board of Directors, Coaches, Parents, and Volunteers
