Rachel's Road to Recovery

On Wednesday May 29th, Rachel Heath was involved in a hit and run, she was struck by the car throwing her from the motorcycle she was on. Sustaining multiply breaks and injuries. Rachel was life flighted to Atlanta Medical where she was admitted into ICU and underwent immediate surgery for the multiply breaks, she sustained. Both of her arms are broken in multiple places, her shoulder, collar bone, nose, and pelvis have been broken. Her back is broken in several places. Her eye sockets have been shattered. She has an extensive road to recovery and will be out of work for at least 6 months. Rachel is a single mom of 3 and needs our help in her recovery, she will be unable to provide for her family while she is recovering, and any amount of help will be appreciated. Her Uncle Marty Long will be overseer of her finances while she is recovering, he has also set up a fund account at United Bank in Jackson. We are so grateful for God’s protection and grace throughout this tragic accident. Rachel could have died leaving her precious children without their mother. We want to make sure that Rachel can focus on her recovery and enjoying her time with her children instead of worrying about her finances.
